We normally hang our doors on primed solid poplar jambs. We believe that if you are choosing a solid stile & rail constructed door, you should have it hung in a suitable frame. Finger jointed pine jambs are usually used with cheaper flush or skin type doors which are made with pressed skins over particle board cores. Good quality jambs & hinges ensure that you are getting a quality product and make a visible difference to the final finish of the product.
Standard Jamb Thickness is 3/4″ & 1 1/16″ – we also offer custom thickness jambs.
